Slab apricots are made from super-ripe fruit. Allowed to tree-ripen until they are super sweet and jam-like, they are then cut and sun dried, capturing real depth of flavour and natural sweetness.
They lose their shape when cut, so they aren't pretty, but what they lack in looks they make up in taste.
Soft, sweet and chewy, think apricot jam fruit leather with zero added sugar.

Due to the fragile nature of super-ripe fruit, slab apricots are cut by hand, hence the pricing structure.
Postage charge of $25 covers up to 5kg weight.
